Brian Doonan started his professional career at one of the common “cuts / clips” outlets in the local area. He soon found that this mass production business model was not consistent with his skills and devotion to high-quality work.

Brian also saw that this particular model did not allow him to own a small business nor to enjoy the challenges and freedoms that come with independent business ownership. That’s when he made the decision to establish Doonan’s Barber Shop & Styling.

    I just moved from Seattle about a year and a half ago where I was a teacher for AVEDA for 6 years as well. At a barber/cosmetology school.

    I’ve been a barber and educator with more then 18 years’ experience in the barber/cosmetology industry. I continue to hone my skills by regularly attending nationwide barbering workshops. I have a strong grasp on complex concepts of styles, design, in the industry. I am self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, personable and passionate about my work.

      I enjoy working at Doonan’s Barber Shop because it affords me the opportunity to own my business and enjoy tie independence to have schedule flexibility and the creative freedom to work with each client to provide unique cuts and designs as specified by each client.

      This atmosphere provides the challenge to lead in advancing unique designs that are cutting edge and reflective of imagination and consultations with my clients that can be fashion leaders in an ever-evolving industry.
